CareerSource Escarosa is proud to announce Paychecks for Patriots, a special statewide hiring fair in November dedicated to employing Florida veterans. More than 6,280 veteran candidates and military family members who participated in previous Paychecks for Patriots events have gained employment from connections made at these events. This year, events in the CareerSource Escarosa region will take place Tuesday, November 10th / Premier Virtual.
This year’s event may look different than usual, but CareerSource Escarosa remains committed to using technology to still allow for service members and veterans to come together with local businesses.
The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity, the Florida National Guard, the Florida Department of Veterans’ Affairs and participating Florida employers are partnering with CareerSource Florida regions throughout the state to connect veterans with career opportunities to continue our mission to be the most veteran-friendly state in the nation.
Veterans and their families bring dedication, a special set of skills and diversity to Florida’s workforce. CareerSource Escarosa is excited to serve those who have served our country. Through Paychecks for Patriots, companies will be connected with talented, well-trained veterans to join their team.
Veterans in attendance will have the opportunity to connect with a wide range of employers at CareerSource Escarosa’s event, being held on Tuesday, November 10th. This event will provide many veterans with meaningful employment from businesses who are dedicated to assisting veterans and their families find careers that match their unique skills and aspirations.
