FloridaWest Economic Development Alliance is seeking a highly organized and professional Administrative Assistant to support the CEO, staff, board meetings, and general office operations. This is an office-based position with typical business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Occasional work outside normal business hours may be required to support meetings, events, or organizational needs.

This position plays an important role in helping the organization operate efficiently while providing responsive administrative support to internal staff, board members, partners, visitors, and the public. The Administrative Assistant will also help manage incoming calls for FloridaWest Economic Development Alliance and CO:LAB, ensuring callers are greeted professionally and directed to the appropriate staff member or resource.

Key responsibilities include assisting with meeting preparation, scheduling, calendar coordination, document preparation, correspondence, filing, recordkeeping, and general office support. Duties may include preparing agendas and meeting materials, coordinating logistics, taking notes or minutes as needed, maintaining contact lists, assisting with public notices, supporting staff communications, and helping ensure follow-up items are tracked and completed.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, professional, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced office environment. Strong communication skills, discretion, customer service, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Salesforce are required for success in this role. Experience supporting executives, boards, committees, or public-facing organizations is preferred.
