U.K. based aerospace company Field International is preparing to open its U.S. based manufacturing operations, Field International USA, at a facility in Pensacola. They’re currently looking to fill 50 jobs ranging from welders and assemblers to support staff.

FloridaWest Economic Development Alliance announced today that West Fraser, one of the world’s largest producers of renewable wood building products, has invested $70,250,000 in capital expenditures to expand its existing sawmill operation in McDavid, Escambia County, Florida.
