In celebration of National Manufacturing Month, Co:lab welcomed the University of West Florida’s Haas Center to Taco Thursday to show us how their Sea3D lab can benefit entrepreneurs.
The University of West Florida recently announced the expansion of the UWF Haas Center in its mission to support communities with market research, workforce development and industrial innovation. The Office of Workforce and Industrial Innovation along with the Sea3D Additive Manufacturing Laboratory now operate as part of the Haas Center.
Housing state of the art additive manufacturing equipment, the Sea3D lab provides a space for students, business leaders and community members to collaborate on the creation and printing of 3-D products. It also puts real-world science on display for the thousands of local K-12 students who visit the Museum of Commerce each year.
