CO:LAB, Pensacola’s only community-supported business incubator has opened its doors to tenants after extensive reconstruction following Hurricane Sally in September. The new and improved working, collaborating and mentoring space includes 22,500 square feet of private office space over three floors in the Pensacola State College Downtown Building at 418 West Garden Street.

The CO:LAB lobby has a new energy thanks to Pensacola artist Poppy Garcia.

Garcia created all new artwork based on the branding developed by Hatchmark Studios in 2017.

“As an entrepreneur in the city I was born and raised, I feel a deep obligation to help foster a sense of artistic freedom and expression in this community. There haven’t always been accessible outlets for the creatives in our city, but as we expand and progress, a need for public art and creative ingenuity becomes more and more of a necessity. To support an individual artist or creator revitalizes our local creative economy, and brings new opportunity to our community. I’m hopeful for the future or Pensacola. I can’t wait to create more accessible public artwork in the place that I so proudly call home.”
