FloridaWest and First Place Partners were part of a group that helped the town of Century achieve the designation “Rural Community.” The designation was given by the Florida Department of Opportunity and is important because it allows Century to receive matching funds for DEO programs without fund requirements.
“The partnership of (DEO) Secretary Dane Eagle with this project and the awarding of millions of dollars for community centers in the town shows the commitment to revitalization of the area,” Rep.
